Scholarship Awardees at a COS Parenting Training in Hamilton, ON (October, 2017)

The Central New York Attachment Network is a collaboration between several not-for-profit agencies that are currently implementing the Circle of Security Parenting program throughout Oswego County and neighboring communities. Prevention Support Partners supports this network along with the following principal agencies:

The Prevention Support Partners works to obtain funding to train professionals in Oswego County to become certified Circle of Security group facilitators. To date, we have received funding from the Oswego County Department of Social Services, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, SUNY Oswego, the New York State Parenting Prevention Partnership, and Prevent Child Abuse New York.

Through a generous grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, we will be funding at least 16 family services providers to be trained to deliver the COS Parenting program throughout Oswego County. These scholarships will be available beginning August 1, 2017 and the next COS Parenting training is in late October in Hamilton, ON.
