Scholarships & How to Become Part of the CNY Attachment Network
Prevention Support Partners of Oswego County also works to obtain funding to train professionals in and around Oswego County to become certified Circle of Security Parenting group facilitators. To date, we have received funding from the Oswego County Department of Social Services, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, SUNY Oswego, the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the New York State Parenting Prevention Partnership, the Oswego City/County Youth Bureau Americorps Program, Prevent Child Abuse New York, and the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation. Please see these articles from 2017 and 2019 which highlight some of our achievements.
Through this funding, we have been able to provide scholarships to almost 100 professionals to expand our network. We recently offered a COS Parenting training at SUNY Oswego in March 2019. We are now providing scholarships on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested in being trained, please contact us.
